What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buona's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buona, or the franchisee, can waive or reduce any obligation or restriction upon the other party through a written instrument. This becomes effective once written notice is delivered, or on another date specified in the waiver notice.
Any waiver that Buona grants does not negatively impact any other rights that Buona may have. The waiver is subject to continuing review by Buona and can be revoked at any time, for any reason, at Buona's discretion.
To revoke a waiver, Buona must provide the franchisee with ten days prior written notice. This allows the franchisee time to adjust to the reinstatement of the original obligation or restriction.
