What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Buona's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after a franchisee executes the lease for their business premises, they must provide Buona with a fully signed copy of the complete lease. Furthermore, before taking possession of the site, the franchisee is responsible for securing all necessary financing to fully develop the Franchised Business.

Once the franchisee obtains possession of the site, they must promptly prepare and submit a site plan to Buona for approval. This ensures that the development aligns with Buona's standards and specifications. The FDD emphasizes the importance of adhering to Buona's guidelines throughout the entire process, from site selection to final development.

These requirements ensure that Buona maintains consistency and quality across all its franchise locations. By mandating approval of the lease and site plan, Buona retains control over key aspects of the business environment, which can impact brand image and customer experience. Franchisees should be prepared to work closely with Buona during the site development phase to meet all requirements and deadlines.
