What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Buona's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Buona has the right to specify different payment methods and payees for royalties. Besides weekly payments, Buona can specify biweekly or monthly payments.
This means that as a franchisee, you may not always be required to make weekly royalty payments. Buona retains the flexibility to adjust the payment schedule to either biweekly or monthly, which could potentially help franchisees manage their cash flow more effectively.
Buona also has the right to specify payment by auto-draft or payment by check. It is important to note that franchisees must maintain an ACH Account, and failure to do so is a material default of the agreement.
