What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may not operate any other business during the term of the agreement. However, if the franchisee is an entity, the Operating Principal is permitted to engage in another business under specific conditions.
The Operating Principal can engage in another business if it is not a Competitive Business and it is during hours when Customers within the Designated Area are not open for business. This exception is specifically for the purpose of supplemental income.
This clause aims to prevent conflicts of interest and ensure the franchisee's focus remains on the Bumper Man business. The exception allows the Operating Principal to earn additional income without directly competing with Bumper Man or during times that would take away from the Bumper Man business.
