What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumper Man's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while initial and refresher training are provided at no charge, Bumper Man may charge franchisees for additional training provided in their Designated Area. However, the franchisee is always responsible for covering their own costs associated with attending any training, including expenses for travel, accommodations, and meals.
Specifically, if Bumper Man provides additional training in a franchisee's Designated Area, the franchisee may be responsible for reimbursing Bumper Man's representatives for their actual expenses incurred for travel, accommodations, and meals. This means that while the training itself is free, the franchisee could incur costs related to the trainer's visit.
Prospective franchisees should clarify with Bumper Man what circumstances would necessitate additional training in their Designated Area and how these costs are determined and billed. Understanding the potential frequency and cost of such training is crucial for accurate financial planning.
