What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumper Man's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchisee's Operating Principal may attend system-wide meetings and conferences offered by Bumper Man, including the annual franchisee conference, provided the Franchisee has not committed an Event of Default and failed to cure it.
This means that as long as the franchisee is in good standing with Bumper Man and has corrected any breaches of the franchise agreement, their Operating Principal is eligible to participate in these meetings. These meetings are designed to address matters of general interest to the Bumper Man system.
The franchisee is solely responsible for all costs and expenses incurred by the Franchisee and its Operating Principal in connection with attending such meetings and conferences, including costs of obtaining any required certifications, compensation, travel, lodging, meals and miscellaneous expenses, unless otherwise provided by Bumper Man at its option. This is a fairly standard arrangement in franchising, where franchisees typically bear the costs of attending optional training and conferences.
