Are there any pending patent applications material to the Bumper Man franchise?

According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees do not receive the right to use any item covered by a patent. Furthermore, Bumper Man states that there are no pending patent applications that are material to the franchise.

Bumper Man does claim copyright protection for its Manual, promotional literature, the Bumper Man URL, and all social media and mobile application sites and platforms. They also claim copyright protection in the Bumper Man invoicing software installed on the iPad Mini that is loaned to franchisees.

Prospective franchisees should be aware that while there are no current material patent applications, Bumper Man actively protects its intellectual property through copyrights and trade secrets. Franchisees are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of Bumper Man's proprietary information and must notify Bumper Man of any potential infringement claims related to the content in their Manual or trade secrets.
