What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, a 'Certified Technician' is defined as a person approved by Bumper Man in writing to perform 'Designated Services'. These services are performed within a franchisee's designated area, according to the terms and conditions outlined in the Certified Technician Addendum.
Franchisees may request Franchisor's consent to retain a certified technician to maximize the number of customers serviced by the Bumper Man business. However, the FDD does not specifically list or describe what these 'Designated Services' are.
Prospective franchisees should ask Bumper Man for a comprehensive list of 'Designated Services' to fully understand the scope of services a Certified Technician can perform and how it impacts their business operations.
