What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, Section 8(a) of the Franchise Agreement covers the approval or disapproval of any advertising, marketing, or promotional materials and programs that a franchisee proposes. Item 11 of the FDD also provides additional information regarding advertising.

This means that as a Bumper Man franchisee, you must get approval from Bumper Man for any advertising, marketing, or promotional materials you plan to use. This is a common practice in franchising, allowing the franchisor to maintain brand consistency and ensure that all advertising aligns with the company's standards.

While Bumper Man reserves the right to conduct national, regional, or local advertising at its own cost, franchisees are responsible for the cost of promotional materials they request for local marketing efforts. Although there is currently no advertising fund, Bumper Man retains the right to establish one in the future, and franchisees would be required to participate.
