What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumper Man's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bumper Man has the authority to revoke approval of payment services or providers used by franchisees. Specifically, Bumper Man may designate credit and debit card issuers, check or credit verification services, financial center services, and electronic funds transfer systems.

As a Bumper Man franchisee, you must maintain credit card relationships with the entities Bumper Man designates. You are prohibited from using any payment services or providers that Bumper Man has not approved in writing or for which Bumper Man has revoked its approval.

This means Bumper Man can change the approved payment processing vendors, and franchisees must adapt to these changes. This requirement ensures consistency and potentially favorable rates or terms negotiated by the franchisor, but it also limits the franchisee's choice of vendors.
