Franchisee will be solely responsible for procuring and continuously maintaining thereafter all approvals, permits, and/or licenses required for the operation of the Business.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumper Man's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is solely responsible for procuring and maintaining all necessary permits and licenses required to operate the Bumper Man business. This requirement ensures that each franchisee operates legally and in compliance with all applicable laws.

This means that a prospective Bumper Man franchisee must handle all aspects of obtaining and keeping current the required approvals, permits, and licenses. This includes understanding which permits and licenses are needed in their specific location, applying for them, paying any associated fees, and ensuring they are renewed on time. Failure to comply with these requirements could result in legal issues, fines, or even the closure of the Bumper Man business.

Furthermore, the franchisee is obligated to inform Bumper Man immediately in writing about any legal or administrative actions, suits, proceedings, or notices of violation that could negatively impact the business's operations or the franchisee's financial condition. This includes any arrest of the franchisee or the operating principal if the franchisee is an entity, ensuring transparency and allowing Bumper Man to provide support or take necessary actions to protect the brand and system.
