What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the costs and expenses incurred in connection with additional training programs. The FDD does not specify who is responsible for the costs and expenses incurred in connection with the Bumper Man Initial Training program.
However, the document does state that the franchisee or its Operating Principal must attend additional training programs and seminars at the franchisor's request and pay the then-current training fee for any additional training designated by Bumper Man or requested by the franchisee. The franchisee is solely responsible for all costs and expenses incurred in connection with such additional training, including compensation, travel, lodging, and miscellaneous costs.
Since the FDD does not specify who is responsible for the costs and expenses incurred in connection with the Bumper Man Initial Training program, it would be prudent for a prospective franchisee to seek clarification from Bumper Man regarding the financial responsibilities associated with the initial training.
