What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, a proposed Certified Technician must meet specific conditions to be approved by Bumper Man. The technician must have sufficient business experience, aptitude, assets, and financial resources to operate the Bumper Business. They must also meet Bumper Man's then-applicable standards for franchisees as outlined in the Manual.
If the Certified Technician is an entity, each person holding a direct or indirect equity interest must not be engaged in the operation or ownership of a business offering bumper repair services or any competitor of Bumper Man. They must commit to engaging only in the operation of the Bumper Business. Additionally, the proposed Certified Technician must cooperate with reasonable due diligence requests made by Bumper Man promptly.
Prior to or concurrently with the proposed Commencement Date, the franchisee and its principals must have paid all Continuing Service Fees and all other amounts owed to Bumper Man and its Affiliates, submitted all required Reports and other statements and data, and otherwise be in full compliance with the Franchise Agreement as of the date of the franchisee's request for approval of the Certified Technician and as of the Commencement Date.
