What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumper Man's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must submit Gross Sales figures daily via the franchisor's Intranet system or other electronic data interfaces. These daily figures must be submitted by midnight (Central Time) on the business day preceding the 1st and 16th of each calendar month. This means Bumper Man franchisees are essentially providing sales updates twice per month with very little lag time.
In addition to the near-real-time Gross Sales updates, Bumper Man franchisees must also submit more comprehensive reports regarding the operation of their business. These reports, which cover the preceding calendar month, are due by the fifth day of the following month, or on another date specified by Bumper Man. The specific information required in these monthly reports can vary, as Bumper Man may request different data from time to time.
Failure to submit reports on time can result in penalties. The FDD states that a late fee of $150 will be charged for each report that is not submitted on time. Furthermore, repeated failure to submit reports when due is grounds for termination of the franchise agreement. Specifically, the agreement can be terminated if a franchisee fails to submit reports when due on three or more separate occasions within any 12-month period, regardless of whether the failures are corrected after notice.
