Do Bumper Man or its officers own an interest in any approved supplier?

According to Bumper Man's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, neither Bumper Man nor any of its officers owns an interest in any approved supplier. This means that Bumper Man franchisees are not obligated to purchase supplies or services from any supplier in which Bumper Man or its officers have a financial stake. This arrangement is intended to ensure that supplier recommendations are based on quality and suitability rather than personal financial gain.

However, Bumper Man is currently the only approved supplier for Bumper Man tools and equipment. The initial set of tools and equipment are provided on loan for the duration of the Franchise Agreement. If any of these items are lost or damaged, the franchisee must purchase replacements from Bumper Man or its designated supplier. Upon expiration, termination, or transfer of the Franchise Agreement, all Bumper Man tools and equipment must be returned to Bumper Man.

Bumper Man also controls the purchase of trademarked and logo items, including uniforms, advertising, promotional, and marketing items, to protect its trademarks, trade secret rights, and ensure quality control and uniformity within the Bumper Man system. While franchisees receive an initial supply of these items at no additional cost (except for shipping), they may purchase supplemental items from Bumper Man at cost. This arrangement ensures brand consistency but also limits the franchisee's choice of suppliers for these specific items.
