What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, after the Bumper Man franchisee and the Certified Technician execute the Certified Technician Addendum, the Certified Technician must complete the Initial Training to Bumper Man's satisfaction. This requirement ensures that the technician is properly trained and meets Bumper Man's standards for providing services.
Prior to the execution of the Certified Technician Addendum, the prospective Certified Technician may be required to reimburse Bumper Man for the costs of due diligence, including a criminal background investigation and a credit inquiry. The Certified Technician must also pay the then-current initial Certified Technician Fee.
Additionally, the franchisee, Certified Technician, and their respective Principals must execute a general release, in a form satisfactory to Bumper Man, of any and all claims against Bumper Man and its Affiliates. This release covers claims arising under the Franchise Agreement and federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. These steps ensure that Bumper Man is protected from potential liabilities and that the Certified Technician is fully compliant with Bumper Man's requirements.
