What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, as of the issuance date of the document, Bumper Man does not own any outlets, control any other channels of distribution, or control any competitive brands. However, prospective franchisees should note that Bumper Man and its affiliates retain significant rights. They can advertise and promote the Bumper Man system both within and outside a franchisee's designated area. They can also operate or license others to operate a Bumper Man business outside the designated area, even in adjacent locations.
More significantly, Bumper Man and its affiliates reserve the right to establish and operate any business other than a Bumper Man business, including other automotive repair businesses, under the Bumper Man marks or other marks. They can also establish and operate auto repair businesses or other businesses that they may acquire through acquisitions, consolidations, or mergers.
This means that while Bumper Man does not currently control competitive brands, they retain the right to do so in the future. A prospective franchisee should consider this when evaluating the potential for competition and market saturation. It is common for franchisors to reserve rights to operate alternative businesses, but franchisees should carefully assess the potential impact on their Bumper Man business.
