What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees completing the Franchisee Questionnaire who need additional space to explain their disagreement with any question should attach additional pages to the questionnaire. The FDD instructs franchisees to refer to these additional pages in the provided blank lines on the questionnaire itself. This process ensures that Bumper Man receives a comprehensive understanding of the franchisee's perspective.

This instruction is part of a broader effort to document the franchisee's understanding and agreement with various aspects of the franchise offering. By allowing franchisees to elaborate on their responses, Bumper Man aims to address any potential misunderstandings or concerns upfront. This level of detail can be particularly important in clarifying issues related to statements made by the franchisor, advertising support, territorial rights, and potential competition from other Bumper Man franchisees or company-operated businesses.

However, it's important to note that this Franchisee Questionnaire is not applicable to franchisees residing in or operating their franchise in certain states, including California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin. Franchisees in these states are not required to complete this questionnaire, as indicated in the FDD. Therefore, the instruction to attach additional pages would only apply to franchisees outside of these specified states.
