What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bumper Man's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate their Bumper Business in full compliance with all Applicable Laws. Franchisees are required to notify Bumper Man immediately in writing upon the commencement of any legal or administrative action, or the issuance of any order from a court or government agency, that may adversely affect the Bumper Business's operation or the franchisee's financial condition. This includes notification of any notice of violation or alleged violation, including the arrest of the franchisee or their Operating Principal, related to any Applicable Law, including those concerning health and safety.

Bumper Man can terminate the franchise agreement immediately if the franchisee (or any of its Principals or Affiliates) violates any Applicable Law or has any necessary license or certification revoked or suspended, in whole or in part. This includes the suspension or revocation of the franchisee's or its Operating Principal's driver's license.

This requirement ensures that Bumper Man franchisees operate their businesses responsibly and within the bounds of the law. Failure to comply can lead to serious repercussions, including immediate termination of the franchise agreement. Prospective franchisees should understand the importance of adhering to all Applicable Laws and maintaining all necessary licenses and certifications to avoid potential legal and financial consequences, as well as the risk of losing their franchise.
