What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bumper Man FDD, franchisees are permitted to sell to wholesale auto dealerships. Bumper Man specifies the types of customers to whom franchisees may sell bumper repair services and products. These customers include wholesale auto dealerships, along with other entities such as Major Dealerships, automotive auctions, car/truck rental facilities, non-dealership automobile centers, managed transportation providers, distributors, logistics providers, and final-mile distribution providers.

Bumper Man franchisees also have the option to provide bumper repair services to individual consumers, provided they comply with the terms and conditions of their franchise agreement. This is contingent upon adequately supporting the Bumper Man customers within their Designated Area, as defined in the manual. However, franchisees are restricted from providing bumper repair services or products outside their Designated Area without prior written approval from Bumper Man.

Bumper Man retains the right to modify the approved bumper repair services and products that franchisees are authorized to advertise and provide within their Designated Area. This means that while franchisees are generally allowed to sell to the specified customer types, including wholesale auto dealerships, Bumper Man can change these offerings at any time. Therefore, prospective franchisees should stay updated on any changes to the approved services and products to ensure compliance and maximize their business opportunities.
