Bumper_Man Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You must sell and may only sell the bumper repair services and products we have approved. Paper goods, business supplies and the signage or vehicle wrap on your approved vehicle must all be as specified in the Manual or approved by us. We specify the types of customers to whom you may sell Bumper Man bumper repair services and products in the Franchise Agreement and Manual, including Major Dealerships, wholesale auto dealerships, automotive auctions, car/truck rental facilities, nondealership automobile centers, managed transportation providers, distributors, logistics providers and final-mile distribution providers. You may, at your sole option, provide bumper repair services to individual consumers as you deem appropriate provided you are in compliance with the terms and conditions of your franchise agreement and are adequately supporting the Bumper Man customers in your Designated Area in accordance with our standards set forth in the Manual. You may not provide bumper repair services or products outside your Designated Area without our prior written approval. We may add, modify, or remove the bumper repair services and products you are authorized to advertise and provide in the Designated Area at any time.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumper Man's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees can sell to Major Dealerships. Bumper Man specifies the types of customers to whom franchisees may sell bumper repair services and products, including Major Dealerships, wholesale auto dealerships, automotive auctions, car/truck rental facilities, nondealership automobile centers, managed transportation providers, distributors, logistics providers, and final-mile distribution providers. Franchisees also have the option to provide bumper repair services to individual consumers, as long as they comply with the terms of the franchise agreement and adequately support Bumper Man customers within their designated area.
However, franchisees are restricted from providing bumper repair services or products outside their Designated Area without prior written approval from Bumper Man. The franchisor retains the right to add, modify, or remove the bumper repair services and products that franchisees are authorized to advertise and provide in the Designated Area at any time. This means that while franchisees can target Major Dealerships, their ability to do so is subject to Bumper Man's approval and any changes the franchisor may make to the authorized services and products.
Furthermore, the FDD defines "Major Dealerships" as authorized dealers of a nationally recognized automobile brand (e.g., General Motors, Ford, Toyota, Honda, FCA US Brands (e.g. Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep) and any automobile or truck dealerships stocking an average of at least 50 used vehicles each month).
