What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bumper Man FDD, franchisees can sell to car and truck rental facilities. Bumper Man specifies the types of customers to whom franchisees may sell bumper repair services and products, and this list includes car/truck rental facilities, along with other entities like major dealerships, wholesale auto dealerships, and automotive auctions.
Bumper Man franchisees can also provide bumper repair services to individual consumers at their discretion, as long as they comply with the terms of the franchise agreement and adequately support Bumper Man customers within their designated area according to the standards set forth in the manual. However, franchisees cannot offer services outside their designated area without prior written approval from Bumper Man.
Bumper Man retains the right to modify or remove the services and products that franchisees are authorized to advertise and provide within their designated area at any time. This means that while franchisees are currently permitted to sell to car/truck rental facilities, Bumper Man could change this in the future.
