What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bumper Man's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have the option to provide bumper repair services to individual consumers. However, this is contingent upon the franchisee's compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the franchise agreement. Additionally, the franchisee must adequately support existing Bumper Man customers within their designated area, adhering to the standards set forth in the manual.
This flexibility allows Bumper Man franchisees to diversify their customer base beyond the specified commercial clients, such as Major Dealerships and automotive auctions. By tapping into the individual consumer market, franchisees can potentially increase their revenue streams and market penetration within their designated area.
However, it's crucial for prospective franchisees to understand that providing services to individual consumers is not mandatory. The decision rests solely with the franchisee, allowing them to tailor their business strategy based on local market conditions and their own business preferences. Furthermore, franchisees must prioritize serving their established commercial clients and maintain the quality standards expected by Bumper Man, as detailed in the manual. This ensures that the expansion into the consumer market does not compromise the core business relationships and service quality.
