What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees perform bumper repair and refinishing services at the customer's location. The franchisee operates from an approved vehicle equipped with all necessary tools to complete the repairs. Bumper Man emphasizes repairing bumpers of automobiles, pick-up trucks, vans, and sports utility vehicles. While the primary focus is on repair, a franchisee may occasionally replace a bumper if the customer requests it.

This mobile service model means that Bumper Man franchisees do not require a fixed shop location, reducing overhead costs associated with rent and utilities. Instead, the franchisee's vehicle becomes their mobile workshop, allowing them to provide on-site services at the customer's convenience. This can be a significant advantage in attracting customers who prefer the ease and speed of mobile repairs.

Bumper Man franchisees may establish a home office due to the minimal administrative requirements of the business. The business is primarily conducted out of the approved vehicle. This further reduces the overhead costs for the franchisee, as there is no need to rent a separate office space. The franchisor also provides invoicing and collection services to relieve the franchisee of administrative and recordkeeping tasks.
