Bumper_Man Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You must sell and may only sell the bumper repair services and products we have approved. Paper goods, business supplies and the signage or vehicle wrap on your approved vehicle must all be as specified in the Manual or approved by us. We specify the types of customers to whom you may sell Bumper Man bumper repair services and products in the Franchise Agreement and Manual, including Major Dealerships, wholesale auto dealerships, automotive auctions, car/truck rental facilities, nondealership automobile centers, managed transportation providers, distributors, logistics providers and final-mile distribution providers. You may, at your sole option, provide bumper repair services to individual consumers as you deem appropriate provided you are in compliance with the terms and conditions of your franchise agreement and are adequately supporting the Bumper Man customers in your Designated Area in accordance with our standards set forth in the Manual. You may not provide bumper repair services or products outside your Designated Area without our prior written approval. We may add, modify, or remove the bumper repair services and products you are authorized to advertise and provide in the Designated Area at any time.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bumper Man FDD, franchisees are explicitly restricted to selling only the bumper repair services and products that Bumper Man has approved. This restriction extends to paper goods, business supplies, and vehicle signage, all of which must adhere to the specifications in the Bumper Man manual or receive approval from the company. This policy ensures brand consistency and quality control across all Bumper Man franchises.

Bumper Man specifies the types of customers to whom franchisees may sell their services, including major dealerships, wholesale auto dealerships, automotive auctions, car/truck rental facilities, non-dealership automobile centers, managed transportation providers, distributors, logistics providers, and final-mile distribution providers. Franchisees have the option to provide bumper repair services to individual consumers, provided they comply with the terms of their franchise agreement and adequately support Bumper Man customers within their designated area, as defined in the manual.

Franchisees are prohibited from offering bumper repair services or products outside their designated area without prior written approval from Bumper Man. The company retains the right to modify or remove the bumper repair services and products that franchisees are authorized to advertise and provide within their designated area. This allows Bumper Man to adapt to market changes and maintain control over the services offered under its brand name. Therefore, a Bumper Man franchisee is not allowed to sell unapproved bumper repair services.
