Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If the designated territory satisfies our criteria for a certified technician (e.g. number of Major Dealerships (as defined below), geographic size of the territory), we may grant you the right to retain the services of a certified technician to provide bumper repair and refinishing services to Bumper Man customers within your designated territory, provided you and the certified technician sign our then-current form of certified technician addendum to the franchise agreement and the certified technician satisfies our then-current training requirements to our satisfaction and pays the required fees to become a certified technician.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

The 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) states that if a franchisee utilizes a certified technician, both the franchisee and the certified technician must sign Bumper Man's then-current form of certified technician addendum to the franchise agreement. This addendum is required for the technician to provide bumper repair and refinishing services to Bumper Man customers within the franchisee's designated territory.

This requirement ensures that all parties involved in providing services under the Bumper Man brand are bound by the franchise agreement's terms and conditions. It also helps Bumper Man maintain quality control and protect its brand reputation by ensuring that certified technicians meet the franchisor's training requirements and standards.

Prospective franchisees should carefully review the certified technician addendum to understand their responsibilities and obligations when employing a certified technician. They should also inquire about the specific training requirements and fees associated with becoming a certified technician to ensure they can meet these requirements and maintain compliance with the franchise agreement.
