What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, trade secrets are included within the definition of "Confidential Information." This encompasses a wide array of proprietary assets related to the Bumper Man system. Specifically, it includes any information, knowledge, know-how, trade dress, methodologies, techniques, procedures, applications, and materials used in or related to the Bumper Man system that the franchisor provides to the franchisee. It also covers anything the franchisee or their affiliates and personnel develop or have access to in connection with the Franchise Agreement or the operation of a Bumper Business.

This definition extends to items such as the Standards, the Manual, services, products, designs, devices, tools, specifications, procedures, and techniques not publicly available or generally known in the automotive collision repair industry.
