What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bumper Man Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee has the option to continue operating their Bumper Business for up to seven consecutive renewal terms. However, this is contingent upon meeting certain conditions at the discretion of Bumper Man.
The first condition is that the franchisee must provide Bumper Man with a notice of their intent to renew at least six months before the expiration of the current term. Secondly, the franchisee must be in good standing, meaning they are not in default of any agreements with Bumper Man or its affiliates, and have substantially complied with all terms and conditions of those agreements throughout the term.
Additionally, Bumper Man may require the franchisee to upgrade, renovate, repair, and maintain the Bumper Man vehicle and operating assets to meet the system's current standards and image. Finally, the franchisee must execute Bumper Man's then-current form of franchise agreement and pay the renewal fee. Meeting these conditions does not guarantee renewal, as the franchisor has sole discretion over granting a renewal term.
