What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering their own travel, lodging, meal, and other out-of-pocket expenses incurred during the pre-opening training program. Bombs Away Franchising does not charge a fee for the initial training of the Principal Executive. The training takes place at Bombs Away Franchising's headquarters or at a Bombs Away business designated by them. Bombs Away Franchising also reserves the right to change the length and content of the initial training program based on the attendee's experience and skill level.
This means that while the training itself is provided without a direct fee, the franchisee must budget for all associated costs to attend the training. These costs can vary significantly depending on the distance to the training location, the duration of the training, and personal spending habits.
Prospective franchisees should consider these expenses when evaluating the overall cost of investing in a Bombs Away franchise. It is advisable to inquire about the typical duration and location of the training to estimate travel and accommodation costs accurately. Understanding the potential variability in training length based on skill level can also help in planning and budgeting for these expenses.
