What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bombs Away retains the right to modify both the length and content of the initial training program. This flexibility allows Bombs Away to tailor the training to the specific needs and skill levels of individual franchisees. The training classes are scheduled based on the needs of new franchisees and are anticipated to be held three to six times per year at their offices and business location in Campbell, California.
This reservation of rights means that the initial training program described in the FDD may not be exactly what a franchisee receives. Bombs Away can adjust the curriculum based on their assessment of the franchisee's capabilities. While this could be beneficial for franchisees with prior experience, it also introduces an element of uncertainty regarding the scope and depth of the training provided.
Prospective Bombs Away franchisees should consider this when evaluating the franchise opportunity. It would be prudent to inquire about the typical duration and content of the training program, as well as the criteria Bombs Away uses to determine adjustments for individual franchisees. Understanding these factors can help a franchisee better prepare for the training and assess its value in relation to the overall franchise investment.
