Our Pre-Opening Obligations
Before you open your business:
A. Your site. We do not assist you in (i) locating your site and negotiating the purchase or lease of the site, (ii) conforming the premises to local ordinances and building codes and obtaining any required permits, or (iii) constructing, remodeling, or decorating the premises. We do not approve your site.
- B. Hiring and training employees. We will provide you with our suggested staffing levels (Section 5.2), suggested guidelines for hiring employees (Section 5.2), operational instructions in the Manual which you can use as part of training new employees (Section 5.3), and our initial training program described below. All hiring decisions and conditions of employment are your sole responsibility.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bombs Away does provide suggested staffing levels to franchisees both before and after opening their business. Specifically, Bombs Away will provide suggested staffing levels as part of their pre-opening obligations, as detailed in Section 5.2 of the FDD.
After the Bombs Away franchise opens, the franchisor continues to offer support related to staffing. Bombs Away will provide suggested staffing levels, suggested guidelines for hiring employees, and operational instructions in the manual which can be used as part of training new employees.
It is important to note that while Bombs Away offers guidance, all hiring decisions and conditions of employment remain the sole responsibility of the franchisee. This means the franchisee has the final say in who they hire and the terms of their employment, carrying the responsibility for compliance with all applicable employment laws.
