Our Pre-Opening Obligations
Before you open your business:
A. Your site. We do not assist you in (i) locating your site and negotiating the purchase or lease of the site, (ii) conforming the premises to local ordinances and building codes and obtaining any required permits, or (iii) constructing, remodeling, or decorating the premises. We do not approve your site.
- B. Hiring and training employees. We will provide you with our suggested staffing levels (Section 5.2), suggested guidelines for hiring employees (Section 5.2), operational instructions in the Manual which you can use as part of training new employees (Section 5.3), and our initial training program described below. All hiring decisions and conditions of employment are your sole responsibility.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Bombs Away Franchise Disclosure Document, Bombs Away will provide franchisees with suggested guidelines for hiring employees both before and after the business opens. Bombs Away will also provide suggested staffing levels and operational instructions in the manual that can be used as part of training new employees. However, all hiring decisions and conditions of employment are the franchisee's sole responsibility.
Prior to opening, Bombs Away does not assist franchisees in locating a site, negotiating the purchase or lease of the site, conforming the premises to local ordinances and building codes, obtaining required permits, or constructing, remodeling, or decorating the premises. Bombs Away also does not approve the franchisee's site.
After opening, Bombs Away may provide advice to franchisees via telephone or electronic communication regarding improving and developing their business and resolving operating problems. If in-person support is requested and provided, Bombs Away may charge a fee, which is currently $600 per day, plus any out-of-pocket expenses such as travel, lodging, and meals for their employees providing onsite support.
