What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Bombs Away Franchise Disclosure Document, Bombs Away will provide on-site support during the opening of your business. A representative will be available for on-site support for a duration of 2 to 3 days. This support is intended to assist you during the critical initial phase of launching your Bombs Away franchise.
While Bombs Away offers this initial on-site support, it's important to note that franchisees are responsible for various pre-opening tasks. Bombs Away does not assist in locating a site, negotiating its purchase or lease, ensuring the premises comply with local ordinances and building codes, obtaining necessary permits, or handling construction, remodeling, or decorating. The franchisee is responsible for these aspects of setting up the physical location.
After the initial opening, Bombs Away will provide advice via telephone or electronic communication regarding improving and developing your business, and resolving operating problems you encounter, to the extent they deem reasonable. If in-person support is requested and provided, Bombs Away may charge a fee of $600 per day, plus any out-of-pocket expenses such as travel, lodging, and meals for their employees providing the support.
