What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, 'Inputs' encompass a wide array of items necessary for establishing and running the franchise. These include goods, services, supplies, fixtures, equipment, inventory, computer hardware and software, real estate, and other comparable items. This definition is important for prospective franchisees as it broadly outlines the types of expenditures they can expect to incur in setting up and maintaining their Bombs Away business.
Bombs Away franchisees are required to acquire all Inputs in accordance with the System Standards, which are the mandatory procedures, requirements, and standards determined by Bombs Away Franchising. Bombs Away Franchising has the authority to specify that franchisees purchase or lease Inputs from Bombs Away Franchising, Bombs Away Franchising's designee, Required Vendors, or Approved Vendors. This control over sourcing allows Bombs Away to maintain consistency and quality across all franchise locations.
If a Bombs Away franchisee wishes to purchase a particular Input from a vendor not already approved, they must submit a written request for approval to Bombs Away Franchising. The franchisor may then evaluate the vendor's capacity, quality, financial stability, reputation, and reliability, as well as conduct inspections, product testing, and performance reviews. Bombs Away Franchising will provide written notification of approval or disapproval within 30 days of receiving the franchisee's request. Similarly, franchisees must seek approval for alternate Inputs if they wish to deviate from the franchisor's specified products.
