This definition is important for franchisees to understand because Bombs Away maintains control over the vendors and suppliers from which franchisees can source these inputs.

Bombs Away requires franchisees to acquire all inputs in accordance with the System Standards, and may require franchisees to purchase or lease inputs from Bombs Away, Bombs Away's designee, Required Vendors, or Approved Vendors. Bombs Away retains the right to change these requirements or the status of any vendor by issuing updated System Standards. This means that franchisees must stay informed of any changes to approved vendors or required inputs to remain compliant with the franchise agreement.

If a Bombs Away franchisee wishes to purchase a particular input from a vendor not already approved, they must submit a written request for approval to Bombs Away. The franchisor may then evaluate the vendor's capacity, quality, financial stability, reputation, and reliability, and may also conduct inspections, product testing, and performance reviews. Bombs Away will provide written notification of approval or disapproval within 30 days of receiving the franchisee's request. Similarly, if a franchisee wants to use an alternate input, they must also seek approval from Bombs Away, who will provide a decision within 30 days.
