What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bombs Away Franchising has the authority to change, add, or delete System Standards at any time and may inform franchisees of these changes through any method it deems appropriate. This notification method does not necessarily have to qualify as formal legal notice.

This means that Bombs Away has broad discretion in how it communicates changes to the products and services offered under the franchise system. Franchisees must comply with these changes within a reasonable time and at their own expense. This could include adopting new service offerings, discontinuing existing ones, or modifying how services are delivered.

For a prospective Bombs Away franchisee, this highlights the importance of maintaining open communication with the franchisor and staying informed about any updates to the System Standards. The franchisee bears the financial responsibility for implementing these changes, so it's crucial to understand the potential costs associated with adapting to new requirements. It would be prudent to inquire about the typical frequency and nature of System Standard changes and the expected costs for compliance.
