What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bombs Away Franchising has the right to modify the Manual at any time and inform franchisees of these changes through any method they deem appropriate. This communication method does not need to qualify as formal legal notice. In case of a dispute about the Manual's contents, Bombs Away Franchising's master copy will be the controlling document.
This policy gives Bombs Away significant flexibility in updating operational procedures and standards. However, it also means franchisees must stay vigilant for updates from Bombs Away, as there is no guaranteed method or advance notice for changes. The franchisee bears the responsibility of adhering to the most current version of the Manual as maintained by Bombs Away.
For a prospective Bombs Away franchisee, this highlights the importance of maintaining open communication with the franchisor and regularly checking for updates to the Manual. It would be prudent to inquire about the typical methods Bombs Away uses to disseminate updates and how frequently the Manual is revised to ensure they can stay informed and compliant with the latest System Standards.
