What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the specifications and standards outlined in the franchise agreement and System Standards are designed to protect Bombs Away Franchising's interest in the Bombs Away system, the brand's trademarks or "Marks", and the goodwill associated with them. These standards are not intended to establish control over the franchisee's business operations.
The System Standards encompass a wide array of aspects related to the business, including appearance, business metrics, cleanliness, customer service, design, equipment, inventory, marketing and public relations, operating days and hours, presentation of Marks, product and service offerings, quality of products and services, reporting, safety, technology, uniforms, and vehicles. This comprehensive approach ensures consistency and quality across all Bombs Away franchise locations.
This means that while franchisees maintain independence in their day-to-day operations, they must adhere to Bombs Away's established standards to maintain brand integrity and customer expectations. This balance between franchisee autonomy and franchisor oversight is typical in franchising, allowing Bombs Away to protect its brand while enabling franchisees to run their businesses.
