What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bombs Away Franchising has the authority to amend the Manual through electronic mail or other electronic communication methods. This also applies to giving binding notice of changes to System Standards and delivering notices of default.
This means that Bombs Away franchisees can expect to receive updates, modifications, and important notifications related to the franchise operations, standards, and any potential defaults via electronic means. It is crucial for franchisees to regularly check their electronic communication channels to stay informed about these changes, as they are considered binding.
While traditional notice requires written delivery via personal delivery, registered or certified U.S. mail, or overnight courier, this clause provides Bombs Away with the flexibility to use more immediate and cost-effective methods for specific types of communication. This approach is increasingly common in franchising, as it allows for quicker dissemination of information and updates, ensuring that franchisees are promptly aware of changes that may impact their business operations.
