What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Bombs Away Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees should not expect privacy in email accounts or other communication systems provided by Bombs Away Franchising. Bombs Away maintains the right to access these communications.
This means that Bombs Away can monitor and review any communications made through these systems. This includes emails, messages, and any other form of communication. Franchisees should be aware that their communications are not private and could be accessed by Bombs Away at any time.
This policy is not uncommon in franchising, as franchisors often want to ensure brand consistency and compliance with company policies. However, it is important for franchisees to understand the implications of this policy and to communicate accordingly. Franchisees should consider using personal email accounts or other communication systems for private matters.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider this policy and how it might affect their business operations. It is important to understand the extent to which Bombs Away will monitor communications and what types of communications are subject to monitoring.
