What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bombs Away Franchising, LLC does not authorize its employees or representatives to make any financial performance representations, either orally or in writing. This means that prospective franchisees should not rely on any financial projections or income claims made by Bombs Away employees. The only exception to this rule is if you are purchasing an existing Bombs Away outlet, in which case Bombs Away may provide you with the actual records of that outlet.

Bombs Away emphasizes that if a potential franchisee receives any financial performance information or projections of future income from sources other than the official FDD or the existing outlet's records, they should report it to the franchisor's management. Specifically, the FDD lists Ryan O'Quinn at Bombs Away Franchising, LLC, along with contact information, as the person to whom such unauthorized representations should be reported. Franchisees are also advised to report such instances to the Federal Trade Commission and appropriate state regulatory agencies.

This policy is in place to protect both the franchisee and the franchisor. By disallowing unauthorized financial representations, Bombs Away aims to ensure that franchisees make informed decisions based on reliable information. It also protects Bombs Away from potential liability arising from inaccurate or misleading claims made by its employees. Prospective franchisees should be diligent in their due diligence and rely only on the financial information provided in the FDD or the existing outlet's records when evaluating the Bombs Away franchise opportunity.
