What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Bombs Away business must fully comply with all of Bombs Away Franchising's most recent System Standards before a transfer can occur. This requirement is one of several conditions Bombs Away Franchising may impose when granting consent for a transfer.

In addition to complying with the System Standards, Bombs Away Franchising may also require the proposed assignee and its owners and employees to undergo training. Both the franchisee, its owners, and the transferee and its owners must execute a general release of Bombs Away Franchising in a form satisfactory to Bombs Away Franchising.

These conditions are in place because Bombs Away acknowledges that the rights and duties set forth in the agreement are personal to the franchisee. Bombs Away entered into the agreement based on the franchisee's business skill, financial capacity, personal character, experience, and business ability. Therefore, Bombs Away Franchising aims to ensure that any new franchisee meets their standards and is fully trained and compliant with the System Standards before taking over the business.
