What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bombs Away's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bombs Away Franchising has the right to amend the Manual, provide binding notices of changes to System Standards, and deliver default notices via electronic mail or other electronic communication methods.
This means that Bombs Away is not restricted to traditional methods of written notice, such as registered or certified U.S. mail, when it comes to updating the franchise system's operational guidelines or communicating important information to franchisees. This allows Bombs Away to quickly and efficiently disseminate changes to the Bombs Away system standards.
For a prospective Bombs Away franchisee, this implies that they should regularly check their electronic mail and other electronic communication channels for updates to the Manual, changes to System Standards, and any notices of default. Failure to do so could result in non-compliance with the franchise agreement, as Bombs Away can legally communicate these important updates electronically.
