What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Big Apple Bagels's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, to qualify for the veterans discount program, a veteran must provide a copy of their DD 214 form. This form must demonstrate that the veteran received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Military.
Big Apple Bagels offers this discount to support past and current veterans transitioning from active service. The discount amounts to $10,000 off the initial $25,000 franchise fee for the first Big Apple Bagels Production Store franchise.
It is important to note that this discount is specifically for the initial franchise fee of a BAGELS Production Store and does not extend to the BAGELS Satellite Store franchise or any subsequent franchises purchased by the same franchisee. This is a significant benefit for eligible veterans looking to start their first Big Apple Bagels Production Store, reducing the initial investment required.
