What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Best In Class Education Center Franchise Agreement, the term "Account" is specifically defined as the checking account that the franchisee designates. This account will be used by Best In Class Education Center to deduct fees and any other amounts that the franchisee owes to them or their affiliates, as outlined in section 14.6 of the agreement.
This definition is directly tied to the "ACH Agreement," which is an authorization for Best In Class Education Center to electronically debit the franchisee's designated account. This setup allows for automated payments of royalties, marketing fees, or other charges, which is a fairly standard practice in franchising for ensuring timely payments.
For a prospective Best In Class Education Center franchisee, this means they will need to provide details of a checking account that can be used for these automatic deductions. It is important to ensure that sufficient funds are available in this account to avoid any penalties or disruptions in the franchise agreement. Franchisees should carefully review section 14.6 and the ACH Agreement to fully understand the terms and conditions related to these electronic payments.
