Where must the Best In Class Education Center Satellite Office be located?

We hereby grant you the right to establish and operate one (1) Satellite Office from a site we approve in accordance with §3 of this Addendum.

Your Satellite Office must: (a) consist of "temporary space" that is not subject to a lease of more than 12 months in duration; and (b) be shared between you and one or more other businesses or organizations.

Examples of satellite offices include churches, temples, libraries, HOA buildings, YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, community centers, schools, and similar types of facilities.

You must identify and obtain our approval of the premises for your Satellite Office within 120 days after the Effective Date.

The premises must be located inside the Center Territory (unless we agree to the contrary) and conform to our minimum site selection criteria.

Your Satellite Office Territory, if different than your Center Territory, must be located adjacent to your Center Territory.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Best In Class Education Center FDD, the Satellite Office must be located inside the Center Territory unless Best In Class Education Center agrees otherwise. The premises must conform to Best In Class Education Center's minimum site selection criteria. If the Satellite Office is located outside the Center Territory, the Satellite Office Territory must be adjacent to the Center Territory.

Best In Class Education Center grants a protected territory for the Satellite Office, referred to as the "Satellite Office Territory," which includes between 7,500 and 9,000 students between the ages of 5 and 17. If the Satellite Office is located inside the Center Territory, the Satellite Office Territory will consist of the same geographic area as the Center Territory.

The Satellite Office must consist of temporary space that is not subject to a lease of more than 12 months and must be shared between the franchisee and other businesses or organizations. Examples of acceptable locations include churches, temples, libraries, HOA buildings, YMCAs, Boys & Girls Clubs, community centers, and schools.
