If you wish to purchase or lease a source-restricted item from a non-approved supplier, you must send us: (a) a written request for approval; (b) product samples for testing purposes; and (c) all additional information we
request. The supplier must agree to comply with our minimum insurance, indemnification and confidentiality requirements for system suppliers and allow us to periodically inspect their facility. We will notify you of our decision within 30 days after we receive all required information and product samples. We may periodically reinspect approved products and suppliers and revoke our approval if a product or supplier fails to meet our then-current criteria. We do not charge you any fee to review products and suppliers you propose.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Best In Class Education Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wishes to purchase or lease a source-restricted item from a supplier not already approved by Best In Class Education Center, the franchisee must take specific steps to seek approval. First, the franchisee must submit a written request for approval to Best In Class Education Center. Along with this request, product samples must be provided for testing and evaluation purposes. Furthermore, the franchisee must supply any additional information requested by Best In Class Education Center to aid in the decision-making process.
In addition to the franchisee's responsibilities, the potential supplier has obligations as well. The supplier must agree to comply with Best In Class Education Center's minimum requirements for insurance, indemnification, and confidentiality, which are standard protections for the franchise system. The supplier must also consent to periodic inspections of their facility by Best In Class Education Center, allowing the franchisor to ensure that the supplier meets the required standards consistently.
Best In Class Education Center will then notify the franchisee of their decision regarding the supplier's approval within 30 days of receiving all the necessary information and product samples. However, Best In Class Education Center retains the right to periodically reinspect approved products and suppliers and may revoke approval if the supplier fails to continue meeting the franchisor's criteria. It is important to note that Best In Class Education Center does not charge any fee to the franchisee for reviewing proposed products and suppliers.
