What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Best In Class Education Center FDD, a pre-paid estimate for travel expenses related to onsite training is due 30 days prior to the opening of the center. This pre-paid estimate, which is used to cover the travel expenses for a corporate trainer to provide two days of onsite training and support, is $1,500.
The actual travel expenses incurred by Best In Class Education Center will be reconciled with this pre-paid estimate after the onsite training is completed. If the actual expenses are less than the $1,500 estimate, Best In Class Education Center will refund the overpayment or issue a credit against royalty fees. This reconciliation process ensures that franchisees are only paying for the actual costs incurred for the training.
If a franchisee requests additional trainers beyond the one included in the initial estimate, they will be required to pay an additional training fee of $350 per day for each additional trainer. This allows Best In Class Education Center to accommodate franchisees who require more extensive onsite support, while ensuring that the costs are covered by the franchisee. The initial investment table outlines the travel expenses for onsite training to range from $1,300 to $3,800.
