We may offer periodic refresher or supplemental training courses for your Managing Owner and Managers. We may designate each course as mandatory or optional (we will not require more than 5 days of mandatory refresher or supplement training per year). Any new Managing Owner or Manager you appoint or hire must successfully complete Management Training prior to managing your Center. After your Center opens, we may (but need not) allow your Managing Owner to train new Managers you hire. If we inspect your Center and determine you are not operating in compliance with the Franchise Agreement or Manual, we may require that your Managing Owner and Managers attend remedial training relevant to the operational deficiencies we observed. You may also request additional training, which we may (but need not) provide.

Instructors

Our lead instructor is Laura Leddusire. Laura has worked at a company-owned Center in Washington since 2009. During the time, she held a variety of positions, including Instructor, Private Tutor, Center Manager, Operations Manager and Vice President of Operations. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Best In Class Education Center FDD, the Management Training program consists of both classroom and on-the-job training. Prior to attending Management Training, the Managing Owner must complete a 2.5-hour virtual training program. Following the virtual training, the trainees attend Management Training for 5 to 7 days at a company-owned or franchised center in Washington, or any other location Best In Class Education Center designates.

The Management Training program includes several subjects with varying hours of classroom and on-the-job training. Brand Overview consists of 2.5 hours of classroom training. History/Philosophy of Best In Class, Use of the Manual, and Services Provided to Best In Class each have 1.5, 0.5, and 2.0 hours of classroom training, respectively. Business Planning, Pre-Opening Procedures, Talent Development, Advertising/Marketing, and Curriculum each have 3.0, 5.0, 3.0, 5.0, and 3.0 hours of classroom training, respectively. Management Procedures and Sales/Customer Service Procedures each consist of 3.5 hours of classroom training and 5.0 hours of on-the-job training. Daily Operating Procedures include 4.0 hours of classroom training and 5.0 hours of on-the-job training. Operational Management includes 5.0 hours of classroom training and 5.0 hours of on-the-job training. Software Training includes 5.0 hours of classroom training and 4.0 hours of on-the-job training.

In total, the Management Training program involves 46.5 hours of classroom training and 24 hours of on-the-job training. The on-the-job training is held at a Best In Class Education Center in Washington of their choice. Within 30 days after the center's opening date, a corporate trainer will visit the franchisee's center to provide approximately 2 days of onsite training and operational assistance. This onsite training involves monitoring operations and assisting with the center's operation.
