What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Best In Class Education Center requires payment of the initial franchise fee at the time the Franchise Agreement is signed. The amount of this fee varies depending on whether the franchisee is purchasing their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or subsequent center.
Specifically, the initial franchise fee covers an initial training fee of $10,000 for the franchise management and operations training program that Best In Class Education Center conducts before the center opens. This training is a crucial part of setting up a new franchisee for success, ensuring they understand the operational aspects of running a Best In Class Education Center.
It is important to note that franchisees who are renewing their franchise rights or acquiring their center from another franchisee under an approved transfer agreement may not be required to pay the initial franchise fee. Instead, renewing franchisees pay a renewal fee, and those acquiring a center via transfer may pay a transfer fee. This structure is fairly typical in franchising, as it incentivizes existing franchisees to remain within the system and facilitates the transfer of ownership under certain conditions.
